Blonde shellac

Shellac is a gum resin secreted by cochineal insects.

It is used for the manufacture of varnishes for cabinet makers or protective varnish for paint insulation.

It dissolves in alcohol.

Solargil golden blond shellac of natural origin

This shellac, once ready for use, will be used to varnish your furniture and give it back its full shine.

Ideally, it should be applied to waxed furniture to give a beautiful, long-lasting shine.

Do not apply to furniture that has already been varnished with shellac.
Characteristics

Natural resin in flakes secreted by the cochineal.
Packaging:

The jar contains 250 g of flakes.
Preparation

    Crush the resin in a cloth with a hammer to obtain a powder.
    Dissolve in turpentine.
    For complete dissolution, heat very slightly in a bain-marie.
    Filter.

Dilution and cleaning

Alcohol, turpentine.
Storage

Store in its original packaging, closed, in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
