PEPTAPON9 is a stabilizer for all types of ceramic glazes and is particularly interesting for frit-based glazes that tend to lead.

It improves the raw hardness of ceramic glazes without producing shrinkage cracks and fissures.

Glaze preparations containing PEPTAPON9 remain stable at the point of viscosity for a very long time.

An addition of 0.05% to 0.20% calculated on the dry glaze weight is sufficient for normal glazes, while for glazes with a strong tendency to lead we recommend an addition up to 0.05%.

It can be prepared as a 3% stock solution using a rapid stirrer, then added to the glaze and mixed well.
