Ceramic plaster for pressing

Fine alpha plaster developed for the pressing of ceramic pieces (Ram Process).

It has very high hardness and mechanical strength, high abrasion resistance, very good porosity and low dimensional variation for a perfect reproduction of the model.

Mechanical mixing with clean material with a mixing speed between 300 and 500 rpm.

The type of propeller (size, mixing speed, shape) as well as the mixing time, the purity of the water, the mixing rate, influence the pouring time, the mechanical resistance and the porosity of the hydrated plaster.

Exudation The beginning of air injection corresponds to the end of setting of the plaster, i.e. when a firm thumb pressure no longer leaves an impression.

Inject 0.25 bar / 15 sec up to 1 bar.

Hold at 1 bar for 1 minute and then inject 0.5 bar/min to 5 bar.

At about 3 bar separate the mould from the mother and place it vertically.

Increase to 5 bar and maintain the pressure for 1 hour.
