Plastic clay which contains alumina and silica.

Highly plastic, it is often added to other clays to increase their plasticity.

It improves the mechanical resistance of pastes and casting slips.

In powder form, it is well suited for making slips, usually pale ivory in color, and is a good base for decorative slips.
