Smoother, fatter and more pyrite than Les Beaux-Arts.

Recommended for traditional firing (salt, wood) and very large hand-turned pieces.


This famous clay has contributed to the history of the potters of Puisaye.
Smooth paste of dark grey colour in raw, it is fired in beige colour after oxidizing firing and in finely pyrite-grey colour in reducing atmosphere.

 
Very plastic clay for modelling and turning.
Excellent drying behaviour.

Vitrification between 1260°C and 1300°C.
