Standard Terracota smooth - TRT

Limestone clay firing light red to dark beige depending on the temperature and atmosphere of the oven.

For artistic ceramics, decorative and garden pottery.

Ideal for hand throwing or machine work.

Excellent drying behaviour, without deformation.

Very good agreement with enamels.

For enamelling: it is a paste that degas a lot and has a fairly high coefficient of expansion.

Not all enamels are suitable.

But it is important to biscuit at least 980°C and make a baking step of at least 1/2 h.

Single ou dual-firing

T° Bisqueware / 980°C (1796°F)

T° Firing / 980-1060°C (1796-1940°F)

Can be fired up to 1100°C with a very slow temperature rise between 600 and 900°C.
