ADHESIF DIAMANT POUR DISQUE TOUR 350MM 125µ
DIAMOND ADHESIVE FOR 350MM 125µ POTTER'S WHEEL DISC
Ref : DISQDIAMTOURECH
Replacement adhesive disc with diamond abrasive coating for surfacing ceramic parts.
Once the diamond coating has worn off, you can replace it (only the abrasive part, not the stainless steel backing).
The abrasive part consists of a flexible, self-adhesive diamond-coated disc to be attached to the disc on the pre-cleaned stainless steel support (Ref: DISQDIAMTOUR).
The diamond coating has a grain size of 125µ and is designed to grind the base of your pieces or to remove drips or scratches following firing in your ceramic kiln.
Installing the new coating in place of the old, worn one:
The abrasive disk must be installed on the gimbal of your potter's wheel model TE9, PWDC, etc...
Use a cutter blade to remove the old coating, and once this is done, apply a solvent to remove glue residues.
Once the stainless steel substrate is perfectly clean, take the new adhesive disc and start peeling off the protective film over 5cm.
Place the stainless-steel disc edge-to-edge with the new liner, stick the exposed part (the 5 cm) to the stainless-steel disc and check that the new liner is well centered.
Gently peel off the protective film completely.
Once the protective film has been completely removed, you can use it by placing it on top to classify any bubbles and permanently fix the new diamond coating.
Note:
-The diamond coating is adhesive and can be peeled off and replaced if the alignment is not perfect*.
*Caution: once the coating has been fixed, it cannot be removed without damaging it.
