Pigment hématite "6253" - HEM
Hematit is extracted from our quarry of Saint Amand en Puisaye (Burgundy). It's a natural iron ochre used into painting, cements and for coloring clays, glazes.
At oil / 100 g of pigment, 30 à 100 g clarified linseed oil , 2 à 8 g de siccative, 1 à 3 g de beewax purified.
Acrylic / 100 g of pigment, 40 to 60 g of acrylic binder, water in sufficient quantity.
At beer / 1 liter and a half of beer, 6 tablespoon of pigment.
In distemper / 2 kg lime milk, 400 g d'alum, 500 g of white Meudon, 10 liters of water, pigment in sufficient quantity.
In mortar / Mix at dry : lime, sand, pigment, add water little by little until you get the consistency you wish.
