Pigment of mineral origin.
These are very finely ground earths or rocks (ochres, earths, natural oxides).
Highly resistant to light (unalterable to ultraviolet rays), they are non-toxic, have a very high covering power and can be mixed together.
Advice :
In oil 100 g of pigment, 30 to 100 g of clarified linseed oil, 2 to 8 g of drier, 1 to 3 g of purified beeswax - In acrylic 100 g of pigment, 30 to 100 g of clarified linseed oil, 2 to 8 g of drier, 1 to 3 g of purified beeswax - In acrylic 100 g of pigment, 30 to 100 g of clarified linseed oil, 2 to 8 g of purified beeswax
Acrylic 100 g pigment, 40 to 60 g acrylic binder, sufficient water - Beer 1 litre and a half
Beer 1.5 litres of beer, 6 tablespoons of pigment
As a whitewash 2 kg of whitewash, 400 g of alum, 500 g of Meudon white, 10 litres of water, sufficient pigment - As a mortar
In mortar Mix dry : lime, sand, pigment, add water little by little, to obtain the desired consistency
